Same-Day Dental Fillings in Gangnam Seoul

Busy schedule or short stay in Seoul? Most small and medium cavities can be diagnosed and filled in a single visit.

In short: a same-day filling is a direct tooth-coloured composite filling placed and hardened in one appointment, with no temporary filling or second visit. It suits small to medium cavities, small chips and worn or old fillings. Most take about 30–60 minutes; larger damage may need an inlay or crown instead.

Understanding same-day fillings

What is a same-day filling?

Composite resin is shaped directly in the tooth and hardened with a curing light in seconds, so the tooth is fully restored before you leave.

Fillings are overseen by Dr. Hyo-Jin Lee, our Lead Dentist for Conservative Dentistry, trained at SNU Dental Hospital. If one visit is not enough to restore the tooth properly, we will tell you before we start.

Usually one visit

When it's not enough

Larger damage needs a stronger restoration.

Questions patients ask us

Same-day fillings FAQ

Can I really get a filling the same day I'm examined?
Often, yes — if the cavity is small to medium and there is time in the schedule. Message us first so we can plan.
How long does a same-day filling take?
Usually about 30–60 minutes per tooth, including numbing and polishing.
How much does a same-day filling cost in Seoul?
Cost depends on your diagnosis, the materials and the number of teeth or visits involved. After your examination we give you a written, itemised quote in English before any treatment begins.
Is a same-day filling as strong as a normal filling?
Yes — it is the same composite filling. Very large cavities may need an inlay, onlay or crown instead.
Does it hurt?
Local anaesthetic is used when needed, so most patients feel pressure rather than pain.
