Dental Veneers in Korea – Gangnam Seoul

Want to change the colour, shape or spacing of your front teeth while in Korea? Our Gangnam prosthodontists design laminate veneers that suit your face — and explain every choice in English.

In short: veneers are thin shells, usually porcelain, bonded to the front of teeth to improve their colour, shape or small gaps. Porcelain veneers usually take two to three visits over about one to two weeks, so many visitors fit them into one trip to Seoul. They suit healthy teeth; the dentist checks this first.

Understanding veneers

What are dental veneers?

A veneer is a thin, tooth-coloured shell bonded to the front surface of a tooth. A small amount of enamel (the outer layer) is usually shaped first so the veneer sits naturally. Veneers change how teeth look; they do not fix decay or gum problems.

Long-lasting

Porcelain (laminate) veneers

Made from ceramic, shaded to match or brighten your smile.

  • Resist staining
  • Need light enamel shaping
  • Usually 2–3 visits
Ask your dentist

Composite bonding

Tooth-coloured resin added directly to the tooth for small fixes.

  • Less or no enamel removed
  • Can stain and chip more easily
  • See dental bonding

Is it right for you?

Veneers can help with

  • Stains that whitening cannot lift
  • Chipped, worn or uneven teeth
  • Small gaps between front teeth
  • Mildly crooked teeth, if braces are not wanted

Things to consider

Limitations

  • Enamel shaping is usually not reversible
  • Decay or gum disease must be treated first
  • Heavy grinding can damage veneers
  • Larger alignment problems may need orthodontics

Questions patients ask us

Dental veneers in Korea FAQ

How long do veneers take in Korea?
Porcelain veneers usually take two to three visits over about one to two weeks, so many visitors complete them in one trip.
Do veneers damage my teeth?
A thin layer of enamel is usually shaped, which is not reversible. We keep this as small as possible.
How long do porcelain veneers last?
With good care they can last many years. Grinding, biting hard objects and gum problems shorten their life.
How much do veneers cost in Korea?
Cost depends on the number of teeth and the material. We confirm it in writing after your examination.
Can I get veneers on a short trip to Seoul?
Often yes, if you allow about one to two weeks. Send your dates and photos in advance.
