Dental Bonding in Gangnam Seoul

A chipped edge, a small gap or an uneven tooth? Bonding can improve it with tooth-coloured resin, often in one visit.

In short: dental bonding (composite bonding) adds tooth-coloured resin to the surface of a tooth to repair chips, close small gaps or improve shape. Little or no tooth is removed, and it often takes 30–60 minutes per tooth. It costs less than veneers but can stain or chip, so it may need touch-ups over time.

Understanding bonding

What is dental bonding?

The dentist roughens the tooth surface slightly, applies a conditioning gel, then sculpts composite resin and hardens it with a light. The result is polished to blend with your teeth.

Bonding uses the same materials as tooth-coloured fillings, an area led by Dr. Hyo-Jin Lee. Your dentist will advise at the consultation whether bonding, veneers or another option suits your goals.

Questions patients ask us

Dental bonding FAQ

How long does dental bonding last?
Often several years, depending on the tooth, your bite and habits. It may need polishing or repair over time.
Is bonding better than veneers?
Bonding is quicker, cheaper and removes little tooth; porcelain veneers last longer and resist staining. Your dentist will help you decide.
How much does dental bonding cost in Seoul?
Cost depends on your diagnosis, the materials and the number of teeth or visits involved. After your examination we give you a written, itemised quote in English before any treatment begins.
Does bonding hurt?
Usually not. Little or no tooth is removed, so anaesthetic is often unnecessary.
Can bonded teeth be whitened?
Composite does not change colour with whitening, so whiten first if you plan to.
